Discover a new version of ecloud
A new version of ecloud has finally been published!
It brings new versions of the following apps:
- Nextcloud version 21.0.7
- Deck
- Bookmarks
- Two-Factor TOTP Provider
- OnlyOffice
- Notes
- Contacts
- Calendar
It is also now possible to share a calendar to other ecloud users (using their full e.email address).
In addition, the Google data migration tool was included in this new version, you can find more information here.
It allows you to import:
- Google Drive documents and files
- Google Photos and albums
- Contacts
- Calendars
We have worked hard to improve this application as it was offered, with 5 different contributions submitted by our developpers to the public project, and 5 bug reports raised by us (most of which are actually solved now thanks to the contributions).
A new member joins FairTEC: Neibo
/e/ has joined FairTEC as a founding member in May 2021. The goal of FairTEC is to develop sustainable and ethical integrated smartphone solutions. We are excited to announce the addition of our first Belgian member to the collective, Neibo, a leader mobile operator in the form of a cooperative. Neibo pursue a fairer economy with the ambition to allocate its profits in sustainable and local businesses only.
Launched at the end of 2020, Neibo offers mobile subscriptions with calls, SMS and data and guarantees quality services thanks to an efficient offer, adapted to the needs of its users and aligned with the market prices.
Quentin Verstappen, founder of Neibo: “By bringing together European telecom/technology players, FairTEC facilitates the collaborative synergy between cooperative projects. This is important to us. We are happy to put the complementarity of our services to the benefit of another telephony!”
The FairTEC collective will certainly not stop there: we are actively working on partnering with new actors in ethical technology industry in 2022.
