Important Device Announcement: End of Support for /e/OS R
Starting with the release of /e/OS 2.3, a select number of /e/OS R devices are marked as legacy in our supported device list. This means these devices will no longer receive official, community or development builds.
However, users with ROM-building skills can still create custom builds for these devices. It’s important to note that not all devices currently running /e/OS R will be affected—some will even receive the Android 14 upgrade.
Why Is /e/OS Ending Support for /e/OS R?
In order to continue supporting these devices, we would need to backport security patches—a resource-intensive task that is not sustainable in the long term.
We strongly encourage users to upgrade to newer devices and builds where available to ensure continued security and stability.
