We are pleased to announce our collaboration on an exciting new project, FairTEC, alongside our partner Fairphone as well as the first French cooperative telecoms operator, TeleCoop; French cooperative Commown; German sustainable mobile communications provider WEtell and British ethical phone, broadband and mobile provider the Phone Coop.

FairTEC is here to offer a new way for the consumer to approach digital technology.

FairTEC’s objective is to promote digital sobriety, circular economy cycles, favor smartphone longevity, strive towards a more sustainable mobile usage as well as minimize the societal and ecological impact of smartphone production.

FairTEC is a collective of European companies and cooperatives working together to create and offer sustainable and ethical integrated smartphone solutions – a centralised proposition that will enable users to rent a fair smartphone, select a more sustainable sim card and use an alternative operating system. Users will be able to visit the FairTEC website and pick their preferred combination of sustainable products.
